What is considered vandalism?
- Vandalism
- An addition, removal, or change of content to deliberately compromise the information on a Streamerpedia page. Examples of vandalism include adding false information and obscenities.
- Unconstructive edits
- An addition, removal, or change of content that does not contribute anything to Streamerpedia, but not does appear to be malicious. An example of an unconstructive edit is removing page content for no reason.
- Edit wars
- The repeated editing of articles between multiple editors where the information is considered to be either vandalism or unconstructive. In such cases it is recommended to discuss such edits in the discussion section of the page before subsequent edits are made, penalties may be issued if an edit war persists.

The community is encouraged to discuss what actions warrant what penalty and these are periodically considered by Admin/staff and edited accordingly.
What happens if I vandalize Streamerpedia?
Punishment for vandalism varies depending on whether or not the user is anonymous or logged-in and if the user has vandalized pages multiple times. The current ban rules are as follows:
For anonymous editors
- Each offense – 2 week ban.
For logged-in editors (unconstructive edits)
- 1st offense – Talk page/Profile warning.
- Each subsequent offense – 2 week ban.
For logged-in editors (malicious edits/obvious vandalism)
- Each offense – 1 month ban.
Good faith edit
- Each offense – no penalty: article may be reverted or edited.
- Multiple offenses - talk page warning.
Edit war
- Each offense – a ban of up to 2 weeks may be issued per malicious editor.
Additionally, extended bans may be issued for more serious offenses by Admin/staff.
