Hey peeps,
I just want to put out a quick request that existing templates aren't edited on a community-wide level, (meaning you can still edit a template within a specific page, but not the template itself).
Please don't also create templates for a specific page unless it's absolutely necessary and likely to be used in the future by other members of the community.
This is because creating a load of "one-use" templates makes use of the Wiki less user-friendly, especially when creating new pages requiring use of a template or for new community members who may be less familiar with Wiki editing.
Such unnecessary templates will be considered as unconstructive edits and repeat offenders may be given a warning or have their usage rights temporarily restricted under the vandalism rules.
You can also help keep the Wiki neat and tidy by marking any obsolete pages or templates for deletion, adding a message to the Admin noticeboard, responding here, or placing a message on my profile page.
